There's Probably An Interesting Story Here...
The spouse and I went to a funeral a few months ago in a small Oregon town outside of Portland. We saw this sign in the window of a store as we walked to the church located in the rear of a storefront on the main street of town. Don't you wish we knew the story behind the sign?

Some dog fell out? A dog hid in a box and scared the carrier?
ReplyDeleteDog in a box, or dog in the car? I suspect the latter, but it does present amusing images. Probably the impetus for the sign was not amusing.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is funny! I realized after a moment that they mean they won't put boxes in cars if the car has a dog inside that might get out OR bite the person carrying the boxes. But at first I did think that it meant they wouldn't carry boxes that contained dogs! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny. Thanks for taking the time to make the photo and for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaaa, what a picture that sign paints, love it, too, too funny!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think they are confusing us. Will they no longer carry boxes of dogs to the cars, or will they not carry a box to a car that has a dog inside the car? Funny. I love the sign.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Italy despite the pick-pocketing, the confusion that comes from not knowing the language. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me a good laugh on a rainy day! I wish you had the answer to your question, I'd love to know the story, too!
ReplyDeleteUm.....that's kind of classic! Thanks for the chuckle :-)
ReplyDeleteActually, the dog would be able to walk to the car, who'd need to carry it?
ReplyDeleteThat does make me wonder...hope all is well :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm! I have no idea, but I'm betting it's a good story!
