The internet is a belssing and a curse, no doubt about it but I'm extremely glad I grew up in a generation where we learned to play outside and had to do homework in a library with an encyclopedia and most of our friends lived on our street. Too much open to interpretation and too many wackos out there in your face these days. They were always there before mind you, just no access to each other. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.

This is an interesting piece of commentary and I like your approach to the attitudes you face(d). You are right, there are some "nasty piece(s) of work" out there. Unfortunately, it seems they are exponential these days. I blame the parents or lack thereof but that doesn't change the challenges they provide.

My husband is a former MSW who specialized in teenagers. When asked why he preferred working with teens to adults his reply was always the same, "There's still a chance to change the behavior of teens."California Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12582691517303132274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2643182421561288851.post-38719324778752675532011-02-14T11:32:13.125-08:002011-02-14T11:32:13.125-08:00Many children are the spawn of satan! Damn. So many opportunities to be inflammatory and verbally abusive gone to the uncreative, unremarkable "Fuck You." So sad. They should make kids read Wilde and Shaw early and learn the art of insulting.

You're a tough lady and this is a great blog.
